Information Sheet for Parents
Our Ministry Team
Phil Whitehead and his team from Bible Club Movement International Canada will be leading the children ministry at the retreat. Phil is the Executive Director of BCM International. Phil will be joined by his wife, Olga, as well as Carol Eagles and Helen Harrison. The BCM team will be ministering to children aged four or above.
Mrs. Mei Yee Lee, our Children’s Ministry Coordinator, will be helping Phil Whitehead and his team.
Parents with children under the age of four (as of June 30) are expected to take turns at the nursery room. See below for schedule. If you have any questions, please speak with Mrs. Mei Yee Lee.

Important Notes

No extra beds or cots provided by Redeemer

Label all your children’s belongings (especially water bottles, snack containers, etc.)

Please drop off your child(ren) 5 minutes before each session starts, and pick up as soon as each session is over, as per the above schedule. Please respect all ministry workers by dropping off and picking up your child(ren) ON TIME.

Be sure to leave your cell phone number(s) with Mei Yee, and make sure you can be reached at all times while your child(ren) is/are in the nursery/children’s program.

Be sure your child(ren)’s water bottle is filled.
What TO BRING for your children

Sleeping bags (highly recommended) / inflatable mattresses (optional)

Snacks (MUST BE NUT FREE) and water bottle for your children since we (committee) are NOT allowed by Redeemer to distribute food and drinks

Regular clothing, toiletries, towels, wash cloth

Pack an extra set of clothes and bring it to the children’s program

Insect repellent and sunscreen

Running shoes, sandals and slippers

Hats and sun glasses

Bible, writing utensils

Medicine (Please remind helpers if your child has an Epi-Pen)

At sign in, child and parent will each receive a wristband with an identical number unique to each child. Children is only allowed to leave with an adult with the matching number wristband. Please make sure you write down your cell phone no. on the sign in sheet in case of emergency.
